Gifts of Hope
|
During this season of giving, there are many GIFTS that we give and receive to serve many purposes. Meet two little girls who have been a Gift to the OI Foundation and have a great story to tell. The OI Foundation is very thankful for their gifts and yours over this past year.
Make your own gift now, and you will make an extraordinary difference in the life of every person living with OI! |
| Meet Hannah Rogers and Mihaley Schlegel. Hannah Rogers, a middle school student wrote:
My name is Hannah Rogers and I go to Benchmark School. This year I had a class project and wrote you earlier in the year to ask for information on OI. Then back in May I sent in the money raised ($280.00) but I continued raising money even though school has ended. So here is a check for ($180.00) and I hope my donations help and make a difference.
Michelle Schlegel, mother of four-year-old Mihaley, sent this letter:
My daughter is Mihaley Schlegel. She is four years old and my two-year-old is as big as her. She has moderate to severe OI. She was recently crowned Tiny Miss Missouri and will represent the state of Missouri for a year. She definitely is one of those kids with an unbreakable spirit. With 64 known fractures to date and rods in both legs she keeps going. She has the opportunity to raise money to benefit an organization this year and we choose the OI Foundation.
Your tax-deductible contribution will help us to provide answers to questions, produce new information resources, and continue to be the essential source of readily available and credible information about OI.
