Information Resources from the Foundation

A large part of the mission of the OI Foundation is to provide information services to persons with OI, the public and the medical and research communities. The following fact sheets were written by established medical and research professionals, and reviewed by people with OI and the OI Foundation's Medical Advisory Council.

Fact Sheets
More than 30 fact sheets and information papers, covering all aspects of OI from Adult Health Issues to Understanding Type I OI are available here to view online or print with your web browser. These fact sheets are available by mail by writing to bonelink@oif.org.

Other Printed Resources
Online versions of some of our more popular brochures and information papers, and a glossary of OI terms.

A series of mini-fact sheets developed for the 2004 National Conference, covering travel, useful magazines, home modifications, and school resources.

Breakthrough
The Foundation's quarterly newsletter includes community news and events, breaking medical or scientific news, features and spotlights on members of the community, and new information resources. View online archives and selected reprints here, subscribe to Breakthrough through the online store.

Revisions & New Topics
The Foundation generally has three or four fact sheets in the lengthy review process at any given time. Check these pages often for new or updated information, and feel free to recommend topics to be covered by writing the Foundation at bonelink@oif.org.
