When you visit our site, our server automatically records your domain, operating system and web browser type/version as well as the time and date of your visit on a particular page. The information automatically recorded by our server is used only for statistical purposes so that we can manage our site better and serve our visitors. All information provided by users is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before you send it to us. Our server does not and cannot record identifiable information such as your e-mail address.
Users should also be aware that the OI Foundation store is made possible through Yahoo Stores (www. Yahoo.com) and the OI Foundation does not control or take responsibility for any use of the information collected by or submitted to Yahoo.
If users under age 14 wish to register on the OI Foundation website, or access the OI Communities, a written and signed parental approval, as required by law, will be requested by e-mail to the account address provided by the child and must be furnished to the OI Foundation offices via fax or mail. The OI Foundation does not knowingly solicit data from children, and the OI Foundation will not knowingly mail to or market services to children. Should you discover that your child has been placed on the OI Foundation e-mail or direct mail list, or has registered on the website or accessed to the OI Communities without your consent, simply reply to the e-mail address included in every e-mail message you receive or contact the OI Foundation offices and we will immediately remove your child from any future communications.
