Help me to help others!
I plan to participate in the OI Foundation's Medics on the March and I would be grateful for your support!
During the weekend of April 26-28, 2019, I (along with 10 of the OI Foundation's medical professionals) will be taking on a 50-mile march along the C&O Canal Tow Path from Harpers Ferry, WV to Bethesda, MD. I am marching in celebration of my son Greg, the friends with OI and their families we have encountered over the years, people in the OI community we have yet to meet, and in particular the OI Foundation which funds research and provides education and community support.
50,000 people in the United States are affected by osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), a rare genetic disease that makes bones fragile and easily broken. A person living with OI may experience hundreds of painful fractures over a lifetime. Each person with OI is unique, with different fracture rates, a varied range of related health issues and his or her own path through life. Yet there is one thing that springs from the OI community… an Unbreakable Spirit®!
Please help us to provide answers to families, fund research, and maintain a network of support groups for families dealing with the daily realities of OI by making a gift and even joining us for this fun event.
Your financial support will improve lives! To support the important work of the OI Foundation and help me reach my goal of raising $5000, simply click on the Donate Now button at the top of this page.
If you prefer to mail in your donation: Make all checks payable to the OI Foundation.
Thank you for considering a gift! Will you also spread the word and help us generate a turnout for this event that will help further the goals of research, education and community support?
I truly appreciate your time and generosity!
