2 years ago we asked for your support in helping us raise funds for the National Osteogenesis Imperfecta Walk-N-Wheel. We were overwhelmed with everyone's generosity, and the time has come for us to ask you if you would be willing to donate to this great cause once again.
As you know, our 5 year old daughter, Sophia, has Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), a rare genetic condition that makes her fragile bones break easily.
We are participating in the OI Foundation's Walk-N-Wheel scheduled for July 12, 2018, as a part of the 2018 National OI Conference. These national conferences are held every 2 years, and the knowledge, support and friendships established at these events are invaluable to many OI families, including ours. We were humbled and honoured to be the top fundraising team in 2016, and we are hopeful we can at least match our efforts from the previous event.
What is very exciting, is for the first time, the OIF is now partnering with COIS (Canadian Osteogenesis Imperfecta Society) which means, all money raised in Canada will stay in Canada to help families here! This is exciting news for Sophia, and her Canadian friends with OI. It is also why this fundraising initiative is so near and dear to our hearts.
Please help us provide funding for research, education, assistance for OI groups and support for families dealing with the daily realities of OI, by making a generous donation. Your donation will be in US dollars, but you will be issued a Canadian charitable donation tax receipt from COIS.

With sincere thanks,
The Kamal Family
