Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) is a rare genetic condition causing fragile bones that fracture easily. I was born with OI and am grateful for the opportunities and communities it has allowed me to be part of.
The OI Foundation (OIF) in the USA is a great organization and is hosting a Walk-And-Wheel event at their National OI conference in Baltimore on July 12 to raise funds for the OI community. My sweet friend Sophia, another OIer livin' the life here in Toronto, will be traveling down to participate with her family. I'm excited to have 'virtually' joined their team!
This year the OIF is partnering with the Canadian Osteogenesis Imperfecta Society (COIS) so that all funds raised in Canada will stay in Canada to support Canadian families with OI. Happy Canada Day eh?!
I'd love you to help support OI families right across this big beautiful land by donating to help fund education, research, and initiatives that will help us connect, share, and learn together.
